The most famous beach in Plomari is Ayios Isidoros, in the homonymous settlement, two kilometers west of Plomari. Having several beach bars, restaurants and clubs, Ayios Isiodors is one of the most popular choices for swimming in Plomari.
Ammoudeli, located in the west of Plomari, just a few minutes from the center of the village, is the classic choice among Plomari beaches for the locals. Ammoudeli is a pebble beach, with crystal-clear waters in a picturesque neighbourhood with two taverns and good accommodation choices.
Other choices for swimming in Plomari are Tarsanas (or Eso Papas) beach and Plakakia on the road to Ayios Isidoros. About 20 minutes from Plomari, following a narrow road to the east, one may reach the small beach of Ayia Varvara with a few tavernas and a lot of accommodation properties.
In the west, about 6 kilometers from Plomari, Melinda is a beautiful pebble beach with a massive rock. Melinda features three tavernas and a few rooms to let, for a stay by the beach.
