Visit Plomari
A Plomari Walk Worth Taking
Follow the harbour, market, square, bridges and uphill lanes for a complete first look at the town.
This easy-to-adapt walk links Plomari’s waterfront with the everyday town and its older neighbourhoods. Allow two hours without long stops, or most of a morning if you pause for coffee and photographs.

1. Harbour and marina
Start among the fishing boats and follow the waterfront while the town comes to life.
2. Market and square
Turn into the commercial streets, browse the local shops and pause beneath the plane tree in the main square.
3. The Sedountas bridges
Cross the stream by the bridges and look back at the relationship between the channel, houses and harbour. Avoid the channel after rain.

4. Uphill lanes
Climb only as far as feels comfortable. The reward is a closer view of houses, small churches, courtyards and the roofs below.
5. Choose your finish
- Return to the harbour for lunch or evening meze.
- Continue to Ammoudeli for a swim.
- Finish near Tarsanas and the old shipbuilding side of town.
