The Plomari villages are not one attraction repeated seven times. Each has its own relationship with water, olive growing, local production and the town below. Choose a route with two or three stops and give them time.
Megalochori, old Plomari
Visit the historic mountain centre for its two quarters, churches, square, springs and the story that connects it with the later harbour town.
Akrasi, Neochori and Ambeliko
These three form the clearest inland circuit: cobbled streets and an old press in Akrasi, water and olive heritage in Neochori, and a medieval tower with museum collections in Ambeliko.
Palaiochori and Melinda
Walk among the tightly grouped houses and projecting upper floors of Palaiochori, then descend to the beach at Melinda.
Plagia and Trygonas
A shorter circuit close to Plomari brings you into two lived-in villages shaped by churches, agriculture and the olive landscape.
