Route 1: Akrasi – Neochori – Ambeliko

Walk Akrasi’s cobbled lanes and look for the old olive press and civic buildings. In Neochori, the steep streets, water and early-20th-century press tell another part of the olive story.

Continue to Ambeliko for the medieval tower, Agios Nikolaos and collections connected with folklore, church heritage and pine-resin work. Confirm access and return before dark.

Route 2: Palaiochori – Melinda

Begin among Palaiochori’s closely grouped houses and traditional projecting upper floors, then descend to Melinda for the beach and a meal. Keep Panagia Kryfti as a separate boat outing.

Route 3: Plagia – Trygonas

Plagia and Trygonas make a compact outing close to Plomari. Walk the village centres, see the churches from respectful public areas and follow the road through the olive-growing landscape before returning to town.

Route 4: Megalochori, old Plomari

Give Megalochori its own half-day. Its two historic quarters, churches, springs and links with the earlier settlement history of Plomari reward a visit without adding distant stops.
